Today .... I will live through the next 24 hours and
not try to tackle all of life's problems at once.
Today .... I will improve myself ...
my body ... my mind ... my faith and spirit.
Today .... I refuse to spend any time
worrying about what might happen ... "IF"
Today .... I won't imagine what I would do
if things changed ... they're not different ...
I will do the best with the things I have.
Today .... I will pray for strength I need to let go of
any of the resentments of others and my
self-condemnations of my past mistakes.
Today .... I will not try to change ...
or improve ... anybody but me!
Today .... I'll act toward others as though
this could be my very last day on earth.
Today .... I will be unafraid ... I will enjoy what is
beautiful ... and I will believe that as I give to
the world ... the world will give the same back to me.
Whether this is the best of times or the worst
of times, these are the only times we've got.
If we'll live each day fully and look ahead at
what's yet to come, it makes a difference.
