If We Didn't Have Memories

A memory is a picture that's frozen in time.
Some of them we cherish and some are unkind.
They bring us hope or help us to win fights,
And we welcome them on a long lonely night.

A memory saves dreams, and things it has seen.
What would life be if we didn't have memories.
