Can't Blame The Time
 
Verse 1:
Minutes and hours are metered by clocks,
A device invented by a man.
A clock is somethin' that some depend on.
It displays time by use of two hands.

Verse 2:
Some clocks have an alarm to wake us up.
Which makes quite a few people depressed.
Clocks tell people when it's time to eat,
Eliminates makin' a wrong guess. 

Chorus:
Man manufactures and sets all the clocks,
It controls events in many lives.
Can't blame the time when you are late,
'Cause It tells you what time to arrive.

Clocks help the world by tellin' it the time.
And racin' a clock is a race you can't win.
But we all keep on tryin' to beat time.
If it could that would make a clock grin.
