Goin' Nowhere

The world keeps us spinning,
Racin' against the clock.
We have no time for livin',
'Cause we're too busy to stop.

Words that we need to speak,
Never seem to get spoke.
Many peoples dreams and plans,
get lost or go up in smoke.

Goin' nowhere is where we go today,
Passin' up things we might've had.
We're always tryin' to beat time,
Wastin' the precious time we have.

Made up my mind i'm slowin' down,
I'm in a race that I can't win.
I'll get some rest and piece of mind,
Before I have to get up and go again.
