The Politicians

They sent jobs overseas we don't have,
They lost us income we could have had.
They've wasted money the country needs,
Farmers can't afford to buy their seeds.

They keep writing laws we don't need,
It seems some have sold out for greed.
They don't save money for rainy days,
All the politicians have wasteful ways.

Chorus:
If not for those working on the street,
None of the bills would be paid at all.
It seems the politicians are all fools,
And the cause for this country's fall.

I've no doubt that I'd be in jail,
With a hot spot reserved in hell.
If I had did what politicians do,
On the bills they got through.

They've mortgaged us to the hilt,
Ruined a country our fathers built.
Spent money on needless things,
And our hardships are all it brings.
