He's a shadow of the man,
That once held her hand.
But her love is still strong,
With all that’s gone wrong.

Whenever she looks at him,
She sees where he’s been.
And recalls the memories,
Of the man he used to be.

Her love keeps her there,
His memory’s everywhere.
Their pictures on the wall,
Shows the love she recalls.

And because he’s her man,

He can't help it he is old,
Or some diseases took hold.
Anytime he treats her unkind,
