I nev-er wor-ried a-bout the lit-tle things 
I want-ed pos-ses-sions mon-ey could bring 
Nev-er paid at-ten-tion to what I should've saw 
But I found mo-ney was-n't im-por-tant at all. 

Al-ways run-ning, but nev-er get-ting no-where 
Nev-er took time to show how much I car-ed. 
Now some I lov-ed can't ans-wer when I call 
Found what I chas-ed wasn't im-portant at all. 

Time was wast-ed on the things I did 
And I act-ed like a spoil-ed lit-tle kid. 

The years roll by, and soon they-re all gone 
No-thing to re-mem-ber, when you mov-ed on. 
What I got a-head Is writ-ten on the wall 
What I did in my life was-n't im-por-tant at all. 
 

My kids grew up, nev-er know-ing that I car-ed 
'Cau-se when they need-ed me, I was-n't there. 
Friends and lov-ed ones saw my rize and falls 
But what I ac-com-plish-ed was-n't im-por-tant at all.
